Feeding Therapy.

Is your child a picky eater? Does he refuse to try new or previously accepted foods? Does new food packaging evoke a tantrum? Does he hold food in his cheeks or spits it out right away? Perhaps your child grazes, wanders from the table during mealtime, or doesn’t use utensils appropriately. Often times, kids who ate everything as an infant begin asserting their preferences until, before you know it, they have an extremely limited and unbalanced diet. This rigid behavior may lead to other issues, including constipation. Our feeding program works to address food acceptance and consumption. We will address tolerance to non-preferred textures, temperatures, and tastes while simultaneously targeting appropriate mealtime routines.
